A Sudanese Memoir
I signed up for a ray ages ago, The Translator: A Tribesman's Memoir of Darfur and finally it arrived! The ray was started by MarciNYC and has travelled widely, from the States to Switzerland, from the U.K. to me here in Portugal and on to Ireland. The account of a Sudanese translator in Darfur, thought-provoking and honest.

I hope you enjoy the book -- although based on the subject matter, not sure that's the best word to us.

A very good book, I know what you mean though, enjoy is not really the right word. The best thing was getting a more personal look at the situation in Darfur, makes it more real than the news reports.
