52x 1001 Books in 2011 - Extras

I had already reached my target, but powered on to make my 2012 target of 400 books read off the list more attainable.  So, with nice symmetry, I read 63 last year, which leaves me with 63 to read in 2012.

The best of the end of the year would have to Foe (Essential Penguin), I also enjoyed The World According to Garp and can finally wipe Jane Eyre off my conscience.
