NSSSS

I took part in this fun secret santa-type exchange.
It was for going back to school - so I sent off a parcel with some chocolate, a wee stationary set and a couple of books to caffcaff.

Fanny Hill: Or Memoirs of a Woman of Pleasure (Wordsworth Classics)
Sense and Sensibility (Penguin Popular Classics)

and received Martha Quest (Children of Violence S.) by Doris Lessing from Purplerose73
A lovely idea, hope to take part again soon.

Graduation RABCK

I recently received A Million Little Pieces as a winner in a RABCK competition set by Tinkaday .

I did enjoy the book, as did a friend of mine who was staying with me. Thanks for your kindness and am passing it on to more people.

Prague Update

Well, am sat in Metropol, a cafe with wifi near my flat, and am just trying to update everything. I succumbed to temptation yesterday and bought 2 books in Shakespeare for 290 crowns.
A Handful of Dust (different cover) , a book that I have been looking out for for a while and then The Birth of Venus .

I have read the following books and set them as available:
Fugitive Pieces: A Novel (Vintage International)
The Cryptographer
Martha Quest (Children of Violence S.)
Flying Under Bridges A Million Little Pieces
I have read and released Trouble in Transylvania and it has already been caught and journalled. Maybe my Czech bookcrossing luck is changing!
